 First of all, Happy New Year, people! People say that the way you greet the New Year is they way you're going to spend it. Mine was... Interesting. I never return back home earlier than I should. This year I've been planning to spend a little calmer than the ones I had ever since I was a rioting 15 years old punk. So I've spent it in all-girls company, and there were only four of us. We weren't planning to get drunk, and just had some hot wine, champagne and me and one of them - a few shots of vodka. However I had to depart back home at 3:30 AM. You're asking why? My neck is dying, it's DYING. I can't keep my head straight! Not to mention me being hungover all day long today, because, khem, bottle of wine and seven beers on an empty stomach...Was fun. Also my damn palm hurts, because following our tradition I had to pet my friend's shoulder...And he has spikes on his jacket.  ...Or the reasons why my family eats together only once a year. Allow me to list all the crack moments that happened in just 30 minutes we've spent together. Number one. Mother: "Nana, where are your famous crab sticks in paste?" Grandma: "...Oh! I forgot them." Mother: "Wonder, so the only edible dish is gone..." Me: "How about father's  pastries?  They're always epic." Mother: "I've meant stuff your grandma cooked." Me: "OH. You've got a point, then." Number two.
